The company was formed in 1997 by Howard Jones, offering a high quality third party service to Gerbercutter users.

In 1999 the company became the UK & Eire distributor for OptiTex and in 2000 became a distributor for Aeronaut Automation.

Since then ACRS has gone from strength to strength and are now UK agents for Algotex, BKR Italia, Prodim (Proliner 3D), Touchcad, Vectorworks and Optitex.

The company provides services both in the UK and Offshore and has supplied customers, performed installations and service in many parts of the world, including Ireland, France, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Spain, Portugal, Macedonia, Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Malta, Morocco, Egypt, UAE, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, New Zealand, Vietnam, Hong Kong and China.
